3.5 It started off really slow and confusing. Ruby was blind for years and then suddenly gets her sight back, it doesnt explain how or why, her parents are killed and she is saved by a boy. Not much time has passed and she ends up owning a full building and a shop etc?? She also sees the boy who saves her and becomes friends with him but never asked him anything about that night? I just found little things like that confusing me.
About 40% into the book it finally starts to pick up and I have to say thats what saved it for me, Im going to read book 2 to see what happens.
