What can I say. I loved it. Its a dual point of view which in some books I find irritating but it really works in Legend. First we meet Day. He is a fugitive on the run from the Republic. He lives on the streets with Tess an orphan who Day found and looks after. Day is such a likable character, strong but soft hearted. Then we meet June. She is a child prodigy and an up and coming member of the Republic. She has everything going for her until her brother is killed. There is only one person to blame and thats Day. She sets out to avenge her brother, what follows is a book filled with heartache, action, tragedy and so unpredictable that its gripping. Its a must read. I cant wait till the next installment!!
